I've been suffering with my right knee for the last two years, and it's been getting worse all the time. With the NHS, I was referred to the physio department, whereupon I spent five visits to them before being told that it really does need surgery. I was told that the waiting list was 18 months. We looked privately in England, but that was way too expensive for us.
